Especially while we're being spied on. Now that #4 is officially gone, does double jeopardy/self incrimination move up a spot?

Anybody tries to sue a telecom exec, the new standard line can be, "Your honor, I'd like to plead my fifth I mean fourth amendment rights."

If you never hear from me again, you'll know it was this comment that angered our benevolent overlords and caused my "disappearance". I hear Cuba is miserable this time of year...

At what point do Americans take to the streets? For some fleeing to Canada or NZ may be an option but certainly not for all. Sadly, I suspect that fleeing the country is at best a temporary solution. The United States is still the nation that takes the lead on civil rights. Leaders (autocrat wannabes) in other countries always use the excuse, "The US does it, why not us?"
